Dear Friends, Colleagues and Clients,

We are all familiar with Power Naps, Power Walks, Power Lunches…and life gets busier all the time!
No wonder so many folks are having difficulty maintaining high standards at work, in the health/fitness arena and in relationship. We work harder and longer than ever, often compromising one area of life for gain in another. Goals can take more time and energy to achieve than in past years. These circumstances may be transformed by resetting goals and priorities to meet realistic outcomes.

Challenge: Create a goal and move toward it one step at a time while exploring strategies to maximize life balance. Take time-out to focus on your breath. This is not a waste of time; on the contrary, planning and analytical skills are enhanced as creativity flows.

Remember: "We cannot stop the waves, but we can learn to surf!" (Kabat-Zinn)

  • Conduct internal “traffic control” several times a day: pay attention to how you are feeling and try to “watch” your thoughts.

  • Meditate and Center: Embrace your personal power!

  • Physically release and focus (walk, workout, yoga, and dance)

  • Try these creative energy motivators:
    • Schedule a block of time to “do nothing”, without wearing a watch.

    • Workout without a headset, TV or reading material. Instead, focus on your breathing (in 4-6 counts, out 4-6 counts

Follow these guidelines and feel your positive energy!

Interactive group and personal coaching can help you set goals and make positive changes, take charge of your life and be well and happy living a balanced life.

Be well and happy in the “young old” generation!
